All our Lodges are on the river and have a view of the waterfall in the park. The Villas Pico Bonito property is perhaps the best located and most beautiful on the whole river.
We are located 7 Km from La Ceiba on the road along the Rio Cangrejal to Yaruca.
Not only are we on spectacular section of the river, we are only 15 minutes from La Ceiba city central and the Zona Viva with its beach restaurants, casino, nine hole golf course and discos. There are two supermarkets, one of which is owned by Walmart, in La Ceiba and numerous other malls and shops close by.
The airport is 25 minutes away and airport pick up can be arranged should you wish. The ferries to the Bay Islands are a short 20 minute ride. Car rentals are available from most of the well known companies. Taxis are always available.
Bird watching is a wonderful way to spend time and we have benches located through out the grounds specifically for birding.
We are close to four great hiking trails, the Guaruma, the Mapache, El Vampiro and Los Lobos. A short walk to the entrance of the park, take the bridge across and enjoy a four hour hike to the El Bejuco waterfall and back Rafting is available close by. Horse back riding on the beach and many other activities, such as zip lining in the canopy are available, just ask us.
Our Lodges have full kitchens (Jungle lodge only kitchenette) but if you want to enjoy delicious grilled foods and fruit juices come to our Hidden Paradise Bar and Grill. The Hidden Paradise bar offers a full range of soft drinks as well as a fully stocked bar where you can enjoy a variety of beverages and excellent cocktails.
You can swim in the river or for the less adventurous you can enjoy our large infinity pool It. has a sun area as well as a beach entrance and is 55 feet long with fountains and a waterfall for your enjoyment.
